Anna university grade sheet corrections important intimation from controller of Examinations
Anna university grade sheet officially issued to the students through respective colleges every semester after the university exams and results are declared
Grade Sheets will be issued to each student which will contain the following details:
- The college in which the candidate has studied
- The list of courses enrolled during the semester and the grade scored.
- The Grade Point Average (GPA) for the semester and
- The Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of all courses enrolled from first semester onwards.
Learning from the past years, it has been noted that students are coming with various corrections in the grade sheets for the following at the end of the course
(Annexure – I)
- Name of the student (as appeared in 10th,12th grade sheet)
- Date of birth (can be an error misplacing month and day )
- Gender
Initially Students show less interest in checking all the above mentioned in annexure-I when they receive their grade sheet every semester. At the end of the course when they apply for higher studies, MS in foreign universities, or for any job process it may create a problem and they have to reapply for correction in grade sheet. The process is tedious and includes waiting time of may be 10 to 20 days

Every semester Anna University will give a golden opportunity for the students to correct the name, DOB (if any). Students need to be very cautious in this to avoid any future problem at nth moment
Original Notification From Anna University :
“ Kind Attention to the Institutions:- We are in the process of printing Grade Sheets of April./May 2016 Examinations, hence you are requested to in the web portal (upon the intimation to students) regarding corrections in Name, DOB, Gender (if any). This may be treated as most important and urgent. Last date to intimate correction : 19-09-2016 before 5:00 P.M “

What students has to do now ?
- Students are requested to recheck their certificates and hall ticket what they received previously and check Photo, DOB, Name, Gender for corrections
- If a student discovers any corrections in above mentioned annexure – I details, he/she is requested to report the same to the department/college examcell. They will help resolve the same.
- Last date for corrections is 19th September 2016
