Eligibility Criteria for Customs Department Group C Recruitment 2017
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have passed 8th Standard and 7 years Service on sea going vessel with 2 years experience in independent handling of mechanized craft fitted with auxilary sails for Sukhani Post, 8th Standard pass and 5 years Service on sea going vessel with 2 years experience in helmsman and seamanship work for Senior Deck Hand Post, 8th Standard pass and 5 years Service on sea going vessel with 1 year independent charge of Engine and auxiliary Machinery for Launch Mechanic Post, 10th Pass or equivalent and 3 years Service on sea going mechanized vessel on main and auxiliary machinery maintenance for Greaser Post.
Age Limit & Relaxation:
Candidates age limit should be between 18 to 30 years for Post No. 1 to 3, 18 to 25 years for Post No. 4, 5. Upper age limit is relaxable for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), Ex-Serviceman & Government Civilian Employee as per Govt. rules from time to time.
Pay Scale:
Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs. 2,400/- (Post No. 1)
Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- (Post No. 2, 3)
Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- (Post No. 4, 5)
