Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army Recruitment Rally 2017
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have passed 10+2 / Intermediate exam in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths & English with 50% marks in aggregate & 40% marks in each subject OR 03 years Diploma in Engineering from a recognized Polytechnic Institute / ITI, 10th pass with 45% marks in aggregate & 33% in each subject or ‘ D ‘ grade sub & aggregate ‘ C – 2 ‘ grade or 4.75 points in grade system, 8th class pass, 10th class pass / ITI qualification in respective trades.
Age Limit & Relaxation:
Candidates age limit should have between 17 to 21 or 23 years as on 01.10.2017. The upper age limit & relaxation 05 years in case of SC / ST category candidates, 03 years in case of OBC category candidates & 10 years in case of PWD category candidates & other relaxation as per rules.
Remuneration:
Eligible & selected applicants are receive their remuneration after enrollment a Soilder is entitled to get approx of Rs. 30,000/- per month as per 7th pay commission & allowances as admissible along with other facilities such as free ration / ration money, clothing, medical for self & accommodation, Railway warrant for self & dependents, Group Housing Scheme, Army Group Insurance Scheme of Rs. 25,000/- & others allowances as per Government norms.
Selection Procedure:
Candidates are selected based on the Physical Fitness Test ( PFT ), Physical Measurement Test ( PMT ), Medical or Written Examination.

Documents Required:
1. SSC Mark Sheet ( Class X )
2. Intermediate Mark Sheet ( Class XII ) & Certificate, where applicable.
3. Degree Mark Sheet & Certificate, where applicable.
4. Nativity / Residential, Community, Caste & Date of Birth Certificate.
5. Study & conduct Certificate ( not more than 6 months old ).
6. Character Certificate ( not more than 6 months old ).
7. Transfer Certificate in original in English / Bonafide Certificate.
8. NCC / Sports / ITI & Computer ( O++ level ) Certificate, if held.
9. In case og non – metric candidates, transfer Certificate signed by Headmaster / Principal of the school.
10. 12 latest coloured 3.4mm * 4.5mm passport size photograph.
Physical Fitness Test ( PFT ):
(i) 1.6 KM Run for all categories – Gp-I: ( Less than 5 min 30 secs )
Gp-II: ( 5 min 31 secs to 5 min 45 secs )
(ii) 9 Feet Ditch Jump
(iii) Pull Ups: minimum six
(iv) Balancing Beam
Physical Measurement Test ( PMT ):
As per eligibility requirement of category given at Paragraph 4 ( eligibility conditions ).
Medical Test:
The Medical Examination will be carried out on dates given by Medical Team. Candidates to check for date of Medical Examination at rally site. Candidates referred to MH will report to concerned specialist at MH Port Blair along with 03 X latest passport size photograph. Candidate will ensure that review medical is carried out on the dates given to them.
Common Entrance Examination:
All the candidates who have been declared fit at rally site in the Medical Examination will undergo a common Entrance Examination conducted by Recruitment Office ( HQ ), Chennai the location & date of CEE will be informed on the spot / will be intimated later.
