Eligibility Criteria for SSC Recruitment 2017
Academic Qualification:
Candidates should possess Bachelor’s Degree in Science (with Physics as one of the subject) / Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Application OR Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized Institution / University or equivalent.
Age Limit:
Candidates age should be not exceeding 30 years as on 04.08.2017. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC / ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PH Category and other category as per Govt. rules.
Scale of Pay:
Scientific Assistant will get pay scale of Rs. 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-.

Eligible candidates may apply Online through the website “www.ssconline.nic.in” from 18.07.2017 to 04.08.2017. No other mode of application will be accepted.
Application Fee:
Candidates should pay Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) for General / UR Category through SBI Challan / SBI Net banking or Credit / Debit cards of any bank. SC, ST & PH categories are exempted from paying application fee. The Application Fee is not refundable.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on Merit through Computer Based Examination.
