On August 19, 1976, Kakatiya University, popularly known as KU, came into existence to fulfil the aspirations of the Telangana people for higher education. And now it is the largest university functioning in the state of Warangal and offers nearly 120 programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Talking about faculties in which KU offers degree right now are the faculties of arts, science, commerce and business management, social sciences, education, engineering and pharmaceutical sciences. The faculties include 248 teaching staff and 622 non-teaching staff.
About KU Academics and Other Facilities
Currently, the University is offering programmes in Engineering, Pharmacy, Law, Computer Science, Business Management, Education, Science, Arts, Commerce, Oriental courses in the University, constituent and affiliated colleges. The School of Distance Learning and Continuing Education (SDLCE) is offering a large number of programs through distance mode. KU follows the semester system in almost all of its courses and announces the Kakatiya University Results which are divided into three parts. One for undergraduate courses, another for postgraduate courses and the third is engineering result.
It happened for the first time in Telangana that the postgraduate in-service science courses for teachers and government employees were made available, likeM.L.I.Sc and MCJ, diploma in mimicry, certificate course in communication skills in English, M.Sc. (Environmental Science), B.Tech and M.Sc. (Psychology). And this was done by KU only. Kakatiya University which is also called as KU conducts its regular exams every year, usually in the months of July and December, following the odd and even semester system. While Kakatiya University Results are made available within a month, after the semester exams. Remember all the results of KU are published online on the official website only. You won’t get your result through any other offline method.
Before taking admission in KU or Kakatiya University, there are two basic things you must know about the eligibility conditions which you have to fulfil. Otherwise, you are not considered eligible for admission in KU, even if you are fulfilling other educational eligibility conditions. These general guidelines are defined by the authorities on nationality and address proof of the applicant. First of all, you must be an Indian national. Secondly, you should have valid address proof, which must state that you are a resident or not- resident of Telangana state.
