Eligibility Criteria for Balangir District Judgeship Recruitment 2016- 26 Clerk & Stenographer Posts
Age Limit & Relaxation:
Candidates Age should be between 18 Years and 32 Years as on 31.10.2016. The upper Age Limit will be relaxed by 05 Years for SC/ST and 03 Years for OBC Category candidates as per extent rules of Government.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have completed Senior Secondary (10+2) Level of Education from the recognized University or Institute with Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized institute. Apart from this candidates shall possess minimum speed of 80 words in Shorthand and 40 words in Typewriting per minute applicable for the post of Stenographer Grade III.
Other Qualification:
⇒ Able to speak, read and write Oriya and have passed a test in Oriya equivalent to the M.E. standard
⇒ Must possess good character and should Health free from organic defects or bodily infirmity

Selection Process:
Selection of the candidates will be based on performance in the Common Written Examination, Computer Test followed by Personal Interview conducted by the competent authority.
Salary Scale:
Selected Candidates will be placed in Regular Pay Scale as follows –
⇒ Junior Clerk-Copyist & Junior Typist: Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 1,900/-
⇒ Stenographer: Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 2,400/-
Apart from this the candidates will entitle to get DA, HRA & Other Allowances applicable as per Government rules.
Application Fee:
The candidates are required to deposit fees of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred) only in shape of treasury challan under the head “0070-Other Administrative Services-01-Administration of Justice-501-Services and Service fees-9904650-Law Department-9916730-Examination Fees for Recruitment conducted by Orissa District and Subordinate Courts” Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe are exempted from payment of examination fees.
