Eligibility Criteria for Chennai Revenue Department Recruitment – 27 Seaman, Tradesman & Other Posts :
Educational Qualification : Candidates should have passed Madhyamik (10th Class) from a recognized Board / Institution along-with ITI certificate in Mechanic / Diesel / Fitter / Turner / Welder / Electrician / Instrumental / Carpentry for Tradesman post.
Age Limit : Candidates age should not be more than 25 Years as on 25.04.2016. Upper age limit will be relaxed for Reserved category as per Government rules.
Post-wise Salary Scale :
1. Engine Driver – Selected candidates will be placed in regular pay scale of Rs.5200 – 20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.2400/-
2. Launch Mechanic – Selected candidates will be placed in regular pay scale of Rs.5200 – 20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.2400/-
3. Senior Deck Hand – Selected candidates will be placed in regular pay scale of Rs.5200 – 20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.2000/-
4. Tradesman – Selected candidates will be placed in regular pay scale of Rs.5200 – 20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.1900/-
5. Seaman – Selected candidates will be placed in regular pay scale of Rs.5200 – 20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.1800/-
6. Greaser – Selected candidates will be placed in regular pay scale of Rs.5200 – 20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.1800/-
