Dr.B.R.Ambedkar University (DBRAU) was founded in the year 1927 and was originally named as “Agra University” but later in the year 1996 it was renamed as Dr.B.R.Ambedkar University (DBRAU). Initially, the university was started with only four Subjects i.e. Arts, Science, Law and Commerce. More than 500 colleges and residential institutions are affiliated with the university and few homoeopathy colleges are also affiliated. Facilities of Management, Agriculture, Home Science, Basic Science, Fine Art and Medicine were added later.
