Eligibility Criteria For Join Indian Army Recruitment Rally: The Indian army is the land-based branch and the largest component of the Indian Armed Forces. In Indian Army there are many parts of general duty section, where the real defense soldiers exist, this includes the Soldier ( General Duty ), Soldier ( Technical ), Soldier Clerk / Store Keeper Technical, Soldier Nursing Assistant (Army Medical Corps), Soldier Tradesmen, Survey Automated Cartographer, Junior Commissioned Officer Religious Teacher, Junior Commissioned Officer Catering (Army Service Corps), Havildar Education ( Army Education Corps ) etc. Service to the nation is the dream of many candidates and this thought is installed right from their childhood in their minds by their parents. This is why they are focused right from their childhood days to join the Indian Army. This territorial army of India has proved to be a great defense system, and hence, a vast number of youth from different states of India want to join India Army. In order to join Indian Army, Eligibility Criteria is the most important qualification and for this applicants must have the following educational qualification, age limit, and Physical Standard / Physical Measurement which are given below in the following paragraph.

About Educational Qualification:
1. Soldier ( General Duty ): Candidates should have passed SSLC / Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. No percentage considered in case candidate has passed with higher qualification ie 10+2 and above.

2. Soldier ( Technical ): (a) Sol Tech 10+2 / Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
(b) Sol Tech (Aviation & Ammunition Examiner) 10+2 / Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject. OR Three years Diploma in Engg ( Mechanical/ Electrical/ Automobiles/ Computer Science/ Mechanical Engg and electronic & Instrumentation Engg ) from a recognized Polytechnic Institute ( No Education relaxation for this category is existing presently ).

3. Soldier Clerk / Store Keeper Technical: Candidates should have passed 10+2 / Intermediate Examination in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science). Should have secured 50% marks in each subject and 60% in aggregate in Class XII. Should have studied English and Maths / Accounts / Book Keeping in Class XII or Class X. Should have secured min 50% marks in each of these subjects, whether in Class XII or Class X.

4. Soldier Nursing Assistant (Army Medical Corps): Candidates should have passed 10+2 / Intermediate Exam in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject. OR In case the candidate has a BSc Degree with ( Botany / Zoology / Bio-Science ) and English, the stipulation of percentage in Class-XII is waived off. However, the candidate should have studied all the four specified subjects in Class XII also.

5. Soldier Tradesmen: Candidates should have minimum 10th Simple Pass/ ITI ( except syce, Mess Keeper and House Keeper who may be 8th simple Pass ).

6. Survey Automated Cartographer: BA/ BSC with Maths. Must have also passed 12th class (10+2) or equivalent with Maths and Science as main subjects.

7. Junior Commissioned Officer Religious Teacher: Graduate in any discipline. In addition requisite qualification in his own religious denomination.

8. Junior Commissioned Officer Catering (Army Service Corps): 10+2 or equivalent exam and Diploma / Certificate Course of a duration of one year or more in Cookery Hotel Management and Catering Technology from a recognized University / Food Craft Institute. AICTE recognition is not mandatory.

9. Havildar Education: Group X – MA / MSc / MCA or BA / BSc/ BCA / BSc (IT) with BEd Group Y – BSc / BA / BCA / BSc (IT) (w/o BEd.).

Age Limit & Age Relaxation For Join Indian Army Recruitment Rally:
Candidates age limit should be between 17.6 to 21 years for Post No. 01, 17.6 to 23 years for Post No. 02 to 05, 20 to 25 years for Post No. 06, 27 to 34 years for Post No. 07, 21 to 27 years for Post No. 08 and 20 to 25 years for Post No.09. Candidates upper age limit relaxable by 05 years for SC / ST candidates, 03 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for PWD candidates.

Physical Standard / Physical Measurement for Join Indian Army Recruitment Rally:
The entire country has been divided into six regions namely; Western Plains Region, Eastern Plains Region, Central Region, Southern Region, Western Himalayan Region and Eastern Himalayan Region. The minimum physical standards for the various regions are as follows:

Western Himalayan Region:
Height ( Cms ): For Soldier General Duty & Tradesmen – 166 cm, for Soldier Technical / Nursing Assistant – 163 cm & for Clerk / Store Keeper Technical – 162 cm.

Chest ( Cms ): Minimum chest of the candidate after the expansion should not be less than 77 cm.

Weight ( Kgs ): The weight of the candidates should not be less than 48 Kg.

Eastern Himalayan Region:
Height ( Cms ): For Soldier General Duty & Tradesmen – 160 cm, for Soldier Technical / Nursing Assistant – 157 cm & for Clerk / Store Keeper Technical – 160 cm.

Chest ( Cms ): Minimum chest of the candidate after the expansion should not be less than 77 cm.

Weight ( Kgs ): The weight of the candidates should not be less than 48 Kg.

Western Plains Region:
Height ( Cms ): For Soldier General Duty & Tradesmen – 170 cm, for Soldier Technical / Nursing Assistant – 170 cm & for Clerk / Store Keeper Technical – 162 cm.

Chest ( Cms ): Minimum chest of the candidate after the expansion should not be less than 77 cm.

Weight ( Kgs ): The weight of the candidates should not be less than 50 Kg.

Eastern Plains Region:
Height ( Cms ): For Soldier General Duty & Tradesmen – 169 cm, for Soldier Technical / Nursing Assistant – 169 cm & for Clerk / Store Keeper Technical – 162 cm.

Chest ( Cms ): Minimum chest of the candidate after the expansion should not be less than 77 cm.

Weight ( Kgs ): The weight of the candidates should not be less than 50 Kg.

Central Region:
Height ( Cms ): For Soldier General Duty & Tradesmen – 168 cm, for Soldier Technical / Nursing Assistant – 167 cm & for Clerk / Store Keeper Technical – 162 cm.

Chest ( Cms ): Minimum chest of the candidate after the expansion should not be less than 77 cm.

Weight ( Kgs ): The weight of the candidates should not be less than 50 Kg.

Southern Region:
Height ( Cms ): For Soldier General Duty & Tradesmen – 166 cm, for Soldier Technical / Nursing Assistant – 165 cm & for Clerk / Store Keeper Technical – 162 cm.

Chest ( Cms ): Minimum chest of the candidate after the expansion should not be less than 77 cm.

Weight ( Kgs ): The weight of the candidates should not be less than 50 Kg.

Relaxations in Physical Measurement: The following categories will be permitted relaxations in physical standards as mentioned against each:

(a) For Son of Serving (SOS), Soldier / Ex-Servicemen ( SOEX ), Son-in-Law of a War Widow ( SOWW ) and Widow of Ex-Servicemen Adopted Son/Son-in-Law of a War Widow, if she has no son and including a legally adopted son of serving Soldier / Ex-Servicemen: Height – 2 cms, Chest – 1 cm & Weight – 2 Kgs.

(b) For Outstanding Sportsmen (National / State & those who represented District / College / School in State / University / Board Championship & earned 1st/ 2nd position): Height – 2 cms, Chest – 3 cms & weight – 5 Kgs.

(C) For candidates belonging to chronically poor areas and those desirous of joining coverage categories who are from families engaged in the traditional profession. This relaxation may be given at the discretion of DDG Recruiting (States) or Centre Commandants: Height – NIL, Chest – Nil & Weight – 2 Kgs.
