Excise Department Recruitment 2016 – Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria for Excise Department Recruitment 2016

Educational Qualification:

Tax Assistant: Candidates should have passed a Graduate in any discipline from any recognized university with must possess a data entry speed of 8000 key depressions per hour.

Stenographer Gr.II: Candidates should possess 12th Class or equivalent from a recognized Board / University with must possess skill test norm of Dictatoin: 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute and Transcription: 50 minutes (English) / 65 minutes (Hindi) on computer.

Havaldar: Candidates should possess Matriculation (10th Class) examination or equivalent from any recognized Board with must possess the Physical Standards and pass the Physical Test as specified below…

Physical Test (Male):
(i) Walking – 1600 meters in 15 minutes
(ii) Cycling – 8 Kms in 30 minutes

Physical Test (Female):
(i) Walking – 1 Km. in 20 minutes
(ii) Cycling – 3 Kms. in 25 minutes

Physical Standard (Minimum) Male:
(i) Height – 157.5 Cms.
(ii) Chest – 81 Cms. (Fully expanded with minimum expansion of 5 cms.)
Height relaxable by 5 cms. in the case of Garwalies, Assamese, Gorkhas and members of Scheduled Tribes.

Physical Standard (Minimum) Female:
Height: – 152 Cms.
Weight – 48 Kgs.
Height relaxable by 2.5 cms. and weight by 2Kgs. for Garwalies, Assamese, Gorkhas and members of Scheduled Tribes.

Age Limit:
Candidates age should be between 18 years to 27 years as on 01.03.2016. The upper age limit up to a maximum of 5 years (10 years in case of those belonging to Scheduled Castes and Schedule Tribes) is allowed for the purpose of the appointment.
