Eligibility Criteria:
Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India and should be a Bonafide Himachali.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have complete their Matriculation standard from any certified Board or Council.
Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidates who posses ITI certificate in Wireman / Electrician trade done through a regular course from an institution recognized by the H.P. Govt.
Age Limit: The applicant age should be between 18 years to 30 years as on 01.01.2016. The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for candidates belonging to SC, ST and Other Backward Classes & Children / Grand Children of Freedom Fighters of Himachal Pradesh. The upper age relaxation is also available to Ex-Servicemen candidates of H.P. as per provision of relevant rules / instructions of H.P. Govt.
Fee Details: The fee is Rs.100/- for General category candidates and Rs.50/- for reserved categories. The fee is to be paid either through bank Draft or through Indian Postal Orders, which shall be payable in favour of “Accounts Officer (Banking), HPSEBL, Vidyut Bhawan, Shimla – 171004.
Mode of Selection: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in Written Examination and Personal Interview.
How to Apply: Candidates are required to send their application in the prescribed format which can be downloaded from the official website of HPSEB Ltd i.e. www.hpseb.com along with one passport size recent photograph, Matric Certificate, Certificate of ITI, Caste Certificate on or before 16.04.2016. The desirous candidates can submit their application at anyone of the following 3 offices, either personally or through mail.
However, for the candidates residing in Lahaul & Spiti Distt, Kinnaur Distt, Pangi & Bharmour Sub Division of Chamba Distt and Dodra Kwar Sub Division of Shimla Distt of Himachal Pradesh, the last date for receipts of application is 30.04.2016 till 05:00 PM.
