Eligibility Criteria for JK Police Recruitment 5381 Constable Posts 2016
Age Limit & Relaxation:
The candidates age should be between 18 to 28 years (The Candidates born before 01.01.1988 and after 31.12.1997) as on 01.01.2016. Upper age limit is relaxable for reserved category candidates as per GOI norms.
Educational Qualification:
The Candidate should have passed Matriculation (10th) or equivalent examination from any Government recognized Board or Institution.

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) & Written Examination.
Salary Scale:
Selected Candidates will be placed in Regular Salary Scale of Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 1,900/- besides DA, HRA & other Allowances applicable as per Government rules.
Application Fee:
Candidates have to pay non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 300/- through online or use Services of Common Service Centers. In case of non availability of online payment facility through Bank Challan.
