Karnataka KEA DCET admission form eligibility criteria

The eligibility criteria for the admission to engineering and architecture courses are as follows.

For B.E (Day):

Passed in any diploma exam with 45% aggregate and 40% aggregate in case of SC/ST & backward classes are eligible to apply.

For B.E (Evening):

• Passed in any diploma exam with 45% aggregate and 40% aggregate in case of SC/ST & backward classes are eligible to apply.
• 2 years of full time work experience are also required in addition to the marks scored.

For B. Tech (Only day):

Passed in any diploma exam with a 50% aggregate and 45% aggregate in case of SC/ST & backward classes are eligible to apply with 40% in NATA (National aptitude Test for Architecture).

Admission procedure:

• When you have done with the Karnataka DCET online application procedure (Which is clearly explained below), do download the admit card/hall ticket from the official site www.kea.kar.nic.in.
• Then in your preferred exam center, your KEA DCET 2016 exam will be conducted as per the time table and followed by that result will be released.
• Rank list or merit list will be prepared based on the marks scored in KEA diploma CET exam. Qualified candidates are called for the counselling and seats are allotted based on the seat matrix.
