(4) Carriage & Wagon Depot /Erode under Salem Division – 05
(5) Carriage & Wagon Depot / Palghat under Palghat Division – 10
(6) Diesel Loco Shed / Ernakulam under Trivandrum Division – 11
(7) Carriage &Wagon Depot / TVC under Trivandrum Division – 12
Qualification : ITI Pass
Age Limit : Candidates age should not be more than 24 Years as on 22.04.16. Upper age limit will be relaxed for SC, ST & OBC Candidates as per Government rules.

Eligibility Criteria for
Southern Railway Recruitment – 144 Trade Apprentice 2016 :
Conditioned of Eligibility : The Applicants who have registered with a local employment exchange falling in the state of Tamil Nadu and Kerala are eligible to apply.
Trade-wise Educational Qualification :
(1) Fitter, Machinist & Turner – Should have passed 10th Class Examination under 10 +2 system of education and also possess National Trade certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training
(2) Carpenter & Welder – Should have passed standard VIII and also possess National Trade certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training
(3) Electrician / Electronics Mechanic – Should have passed 10th Class Examination under 10 +2 system of education with science and should also possess National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by National Council for Vocational Training
(4) Mechanic Diesel Maintenance – Should have passed 10th Class Examination and also possess National
Trade certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training.
Application Fees : Rs.100/- (One hundred only)
Fees paying procedure : IPO of Rs.100/- should be drawn in favor of the Work Shop Personnel Officer/S&T/Work Shop, Southern Railway-Podanur, Coimbatore-641 023 Payable at Coimbatore. No processing/Cost of application fee for SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates but they should enclose the attested copy of the community certificate issued by competent Authority.
Application Procedure : Interested Candidates are requested to apply in the duly filled up Application format that can be downloaded from the official notification link.
