Eligibility Criteria for WBMSC Recruitment 2017
Essential Qualification:
Candidates should have Madhyamik (10th) Pass from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its Equivalent.
Scale of Pay:
Sub-Overseer Grade IV will get monthly pay scale Rs. 5,400-20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2100/- plus other allowances as admissible.
Age Limit & Relaxation:
Candidates age limit should be not more than 40 years as on 01.01.2017. Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC, ST & PH candidates and 3 years for OBC (A & B) candidates of West Bengal only. Age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen as per rules.

Candidates are required to pay total fee Rs. 220/- (Application Fee Rs. 150/- plus processing charge Rs. 20/- plus Bank Charge Rs. 20/-) for UR & OBC (A & B) category and Rs. 70/- (Processing Charge Rs. 50/- plus Bank Charge Rs. 20/-) for SC, ST & PH category. The fee should be collected by all the branches of the United Bank of India and the same to be deposited to Account No. 0088010367936 through Challan. The fee is Non-refundable.
Mode of Selection:
The selected of Sub-Overseer Gr.-IV will be based on Personality Test / Interview.
